ABOUT ME...
   Cynthia A. Hudson
     Paranormal  Women's Romance Author

Freelance writer, Indie eBook author, and novelist extraordinaire.

A native New Englander, Cynthia now divides her time between the east coast and west, her restlessness shining through with every cross country trip she makes.

When she's not writing she spends her time fostering rescued Golden Retrievers, only happy when there are at least two furbuddies running amok in her home. She also runs, competing in 5k and 10k races and forever training for the elusive 20k of her dreams.

An avid reader, she walks the dark streets and peeks into the lighted windows with her favorite authors, Stephen King, Anne Rice, and Dean Koontz. She is always on the lookout for new Indie Authors as well and believes in giving them her full support.

She was a paralegal in her former life, working much of her career with the District Attorney's office. Over the years she has also been a bartender, a tax preparer, and a teacher's aide for learning disabled high school students.

She loves writing horror and taking you by the hand and leading you ever so gently into the dark corners of her mind. A romantic at heart however, even her stories of horror and mayhem include a touch of Cupid's arrow.

The author of two novels, Where Dreams Begin and Picture Me Home, and the first in the haunted lighthouse novella series, Bide Love's Return.  Another series currently under works is the Alex Steele series beginning with The Clock Struck One, a novella written under the pen name C.A. Keane and far too numerous to list short stories.

She is currently working on the first full length novel in her Alex Steele series and the second novella in the Haunted Lighthouse series.

A mother of three and a grandmother of eight, she is just another INFJ that only wants to rule the world but doesn't want anyone else to know about it.

                   Research Locations

We visit haunted lighthouses on both coasts!

This is Portland Head Lighthouse located in Cape Elizabeth, Maine. One of the most beautiful and to no surprise, one of the most photographed lighthouses. This lighthouse was the inspiration behind my Novella, Love's Return.

She must find a boat and sail in it. No guarantee of shore. Only a conviction that what she wanted could exist, if she dared find it.

This is St. Augustine Lighthouse in St. Augustine, Florida and one of my favorite places to visit.
We did have some "ghostly" experiences during our two visits here!
